Meghalaya Shillong Tour 4 Night 5 Days

Meghalaya, nestled between Assam and Bangladesh, is a monsoon paradise known for its breathtaking hill stations and natural wonders. Aptly named the ‘Abode of Clouds,’ this state is a must-visit destination, offering both popular and hidden gems. While Cherapunjee and Shillong are top favorites, Meghalaya promises profound explorations.

Mawlynnog, dubbed the cleanest village in India, has gained popularity for its pristine beauty. Just a short drive from Shillong, you’ll find the enchanting Mawphlang forest, home to the sacred plant grove of the Khasi Tribe. Garo Hills, a nature lover’s haven, boasts the Nokrek Biosphere Reserve, Siju Wildlife Sanctuary, and Balpakhram National Park.

Meghalaya is renowned for its numerous caves, estimated at around a thousand. Spelunkers favor Siju, Mawmluh, Mawsynram, Liat Prah, and Mawsmai caves. A visit to Meghalaya wouldn’t be complete without witnessing the famous Nohkalikai Waterfalls and the Living Root Bridge.

Tribal festivals are also a major draw, with the Wangala festival of the Garo tribe being a must-attend event in autumn. At Tour My India, we understand that exploring Meghalaya and other Northeastern states can be challenging. That’s why we meticulously design itineraries, curating the best destinations and experiences to ensure our customers get the most value for their money without compromising on comfort.
