SUMMER
As we approach towards the end of February, we drive into summers! It’s a known fact that the summers get pretty hot and the temperatures in Sunderban fluctuates between 20°C and 42°C from the month of March to May. You might as well carry your camera, if the photographer in you arose while traversing the dense forest of Sunderbans. Who knows you might encounter tigers coming out to quench their thirst in the heat.
MONSOON
The months from June to September come up with solemn rain where the species exult and mangroves sway with joy after the blazing summer time. The temperature witnesses a major fall, ranging between 25°C and 35°C. Though not being an ideal time to visit Sunderbans you can still dip your mind in the beauty of the mangroves or the blue sky as it’s the breeding season for most of the animals inhabiting in the region.
WINTER
With the end of monsoon, winter kicks in finally opening doors for you to completely enwrap yourself in the wilderness of the Sunderbans. Starting from late September and leaving its imprints till March, it’s the best time to explore the lesser explored six species of shark and ray , saltwater crocodile, olive ridley turtle, ganges river dolphin, the royal bengal tiger and many jeopardized species. The temperature scales from 10°C to 30°C in the favour of many tourists travelling from all over the world for a captivating experience.
