Day 1 – Commencing our journey from Kolkata at 8 am, we will indulge in a delightful breakfast en route. Our initial stop takes us to the Dwarhatta Rajrajeswar Temple, a remarkable monument built in 1728 by the Singha Roy family and now listed among the protected monuments by the ASI. This architectural gem features an atchala design, a triple archway adorned with intricate scrollwork, and a facade embellished with figures. Notably, it stands out as a rare example of Pancharatna temples with ridged rekha turrets. Our journey then continues, with a refreshing tea break in the Joypur forest, culminating in our arrival at Bishnupur town. Following hotel check-in and lunch, we will explore the town’s various temples and monuments, including Jor Mandir, Rasmancha, Radhamadhab Temple, Kalachand Temple, Madan Mohan Temple, Radha-Gobinda Temple, and Shyam Ray Temple. The evening offers leisure for shopping, followed by a satisfying dinner and overnight stay in Bishnupur.
Day 2 – Following a hearty breakfast and hotel checkout, we set out for Susunia hills, eventually progressing to Mukutmanipur. After lunch, we’ll explore Kangsabati dam, utilizing battery-operated eco-friendly vehicles. A boat ride during sunset promises a captivating view of the lake. Additionally, we can discover Pareshnath Shiv-Mandir, Musafirana Viewpoint, and the Deer Park. Concluding the day, dinner and overnight accommodations await in Mukutmanipur.
Day 3 – Starting the day with breakfast, we check out and head to Joyrambati and Kamarpukur, the birthplaces of Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Maa Sarada, along with their respective temples. Lunch will be provided at this scenic location. As we embark on our return journey to Kolkata, we plan to reach the city around 5 pm, with the drop-off point at Exide Crossing.
