Sunderbans Jungle Safari Booking

Explore the breathtaking Sunderbans mangrove forest through boat safaris, the exclusive mode of transportation in this water-bound wilderness. Various boat sizes, from four-seaters to forty-seaters, cater to different group sizes, ensuring an optimal wildlife sighting experience. The well-maintained roadways and waterways connect Sunderbans National Park to nearby towns, with Godkhali port serving as the starting point for the safari.

Visitors can reach Godkhali port by air, rail, or road, and from there, embark on small or large boats to delve into the wildlife wonders of Sunderbans. The tourism department offers well-equipped safari boats, complete with comfortable seating on the deck, sleeping cabins, onboard kitchens, bathrooms, and kitchen staff providing meals and snacks during the safari. To simplify your journey, consider opting for Sunderbans tour packages, inclusive of entry permits, boats, guides, accommodation, and food. For Sunderbans Tiger Safari, boat hires are available based on the desired duration of stay, ranging from a few hours to a week. The larger the boat, the lower the cost per person, making it customizable according to budget and trip duration. While Sunderbans National Park remains open year-round, it’s advisable to avoid the monsoon season (July to September) due to high water levels, which may pose sailing risks in the rivers. Ensure a hassle-free experience by obtaining entry permits from the Divisional Forest Office and hiring a mandatory guide.
