Your Sundarbans day tour begins early, around 5:00 AM, with a comfortable AC car or van pick-up from your hotel or home. Enjoy a scenic three-and-a-half-hour drive to Godkhali, the last road point on the mainland. By 8:30 AM, board your boat, where the crew welcomes you with drinks, breakfast, and tea as you cruise toward Sajnekhali. After obtaining entry permissions and meeting your guide, embark on a journey through the vast Sundarbans mangroves, teeming with diverse flora and fauna.
During the cruise, visit two watchtowers, Sajnekhali and Sudhanyakhali, and navigate smaller channels and creeks in search of wildlife such as spotted deer, wild boars, civet cats, monitor lizards, crocodiles, dolphins, and, if lucky, the majestic Royal Bengal tiger, along with a variety of birds. Lunch is served back at the resort around 3:00 PM. Boats are equipped with clean Indian and Western-style toilets for your convenience.
