Sundarban ilish utsav package 2 Night 3 Days Itinerary – সুন্দরবন ইলিশ উৎসব এ কিভাবে ঘুরবো
Day 1 – Kolkata to Sundarbans: Arrival & Village Life
After breakfast at your hotel, begin your journey from Kolkata to Godkhali by air-conditioned car or passenger van. Guests can also opt for a pick-up from Science City around 8:30 AM. After a scenic 3.5-hour drive, board a boat at Godkhali and stop at Gosaba—the largest market in the region. Continue onward to your eco-resort on Dayapur Island, where lunch will be served. In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful walk through paddy fields and traditional villages of honey collectors and fishermen. Later, set off on a serene birdwatching boat ride through the mangrove creeks, spotting kingfishers, brahminy eagles, herons, and mud-dwelling creatures. Return to the resort by sunset for a lively tribal music and dance performance, followed by refreshments and a leisurely dinner. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 2 – Full-Day Sundarban Jungle Safari
Start early with forest permissions and a trained guide, and embark on a full-day luxury boat safari into the heart of the Sundarbans. Cruise through creeks and rivers, visiting major watchtowers like Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali, and Dobanki. Explore the Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Bono Bibi temple, canopy walk, and areas like Pirkhali, Gazikhali, and Panchamukhani (the five-river confluence). Keep an eye out for spotted deer, crocodiles, dolphins, wild boars, monitor lizards, and—if lucky—the Royal Bengal Tiger. All meals, including breakfast, lunch, and refreshments, will be freshly prepared and served on the boat. Return to the resort by sunset for the night.
Day 3 – Departure to Kolkata
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning with a short walk or optional cycling around the island to photograph the sunrise, mangroves, and rural life. Return to the resort for an early lunch. Post-lunch, begin your return boat journey to Godkhali, followed by the car ride back to Kolkata, reaching the city around 6:00 PM.
