Gangtok Lachung Tour

Gangtok Lachung Tour Package, Sikkim 5N/6 Days

Sikkim is often likened to a celestial haven, blessed with verdant landscapes, rhododendron-draped mountains, towering Himalayan peaks, meandering streams, cascading waterfalls, and breathtaking vistas. It’s a paradise for nature enthusiasts and an enticing prospect for adventurers eager to delve into its hidden treasures. Our 5-night, 6-day Gangtok Lachung Tour promises an immersive journey through one of Sikkim’s most picturesque destinations: Lachung. Our adventure commences in the charming capital of Gangtok, a place adorned with picturesque landscapes, majestic monasteries, vibrant culture, and hospitable locals. Here, amidst the allure of Gangtok, we’ll carve out a day to explore its every nook and cranny. However, our primary focus will be on venturing into the outskirts to discover the ethereal beauty of Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, and Nathu Pass. Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters, Tsomgo Lake enchants visitors with its ever-changing hues, deemed sacred by the locals. It’s also a sanctuary for diverse avian species like Brahminy Ducks and elusive creatures like the Red Panda.

Our journey to Lachung from Gangtok will traverse scenic routes, passing by Singhik Viewpoint, Seven Sister Waterfall, and Naga Waterfall. Lachung, a picturesque mountain village, welcomes us with snow-capped peaks, mesmerizing waterfalls, crystal-clear streams, and lush orchards teeming with apples and apricots. While in Lachung, a visit to the local handicraft center offers insight into the skilled craftsmanship of Sikkim’s people. However, the highlights of our visit lie in exploring the enchanting Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers. Perched at an altitude of 3,564 meters, this verdant valley is encircled by towering mountains and houses the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, boasting over twenty-four species of rhododendron blooms. The melodious flow of the Teesta River, coupled with the valley’s natural splendor, creates an idyllic setting to immerse oneself in the wonders of nature. Additionally, a visit to the hot water spring, famed for its therapeutic properties, offers a rejuvenating experience. On our return journey from Lachung, we’ll pause to marvel at the beauty of Bheema and Twin Waterfalls, adding the final touches to our enchanting expedition.
