From there you need to take a auto van or mechanized rickshaw van for about 45 minutes to reach Pakhirala Village where accommodation is available in various resorts & Lodges. If you are travelling by train remember these trains are public transports and does not have any reservation systems or any 1st class or 2nd class compartments. By Road- There are two popular roads connecting to Sundarban. One via Baruipur Canning which is about 100 kms from Kolkata and takes about 4 hours drive due to heavy traffic.
